Landscape  Design

 

A sketch and/or description of the work to be done along with pictures of plants or a visit to the local nurseries are often sufficient to begin the design process. This time is billed at $150/hour.

 

In some cases a full scale landscape master plan is desired. Our fee for a landscape drawing ranges from $2500.00-$3500.00, which includes one revision.  Additional changes are billed on an hourly basis at $150 per hour (in 15 minute increments).  This fee assumes we are working from a current plot plan and that we do not have to measure the site.  The landscape drawing will show the outlines of the beds, the choice and placement of the plant material and hardscaping (masonry work).  Once our client has approved the drawing, we work on a price list for the plants and estimate for the installation.

Landscape Installation

Our landscape crews are billed on an hourly basis. We usually run three-man crews and occasionally four-man crews, consisting of a foreman and laborers. Foremen are billed at $55/hour and laborers at $40/hour.  The charges run from point of departure to point of return. Bear in mind that we are working for our clients even when we are not on site. We need to plan the installation, purchase and load the plant material, unload yard waste, etc.  Wendy will periodically check in on properties to oversee the installation process. Her  supervision time is billed at $85/hour.
